OUTDOOR WORSHIP SERVICE: Join us Sunday, August 7 for an outdoor service at WEBB park. Service will start at 9:00 AM at the large pavilion. Following the service we will go to the pool for baptisms and open swim from 10:30-11:45. If you would like to be baptized please talk to one of the Pastors or sign up online at todayschurch.com/members.
OUTREACH INTEREST MEETING: Are you interested in helping with community outreach events? Join us on July 24th at 10:45 AM for an interest meeting.
TOUCHED TWICE BACKPACK DISTRIBUTION: Trinity will be hosting a backpack drive thru event on Sunday, August 14 from 11:00 AM—1:00 PM or until supplies lasts. Our goal is to bless our community by handing out 300 backpacks filled with school supplies. We need your help!
School Supplies needed: Expo Dry Erase Markers, Glue Sticks, Plastic Pocket Folders, Ticonderoga Pencils, Scissors (Kids Safety), Pencil Boxes, Wide Rule Notebooks, Loose Leaf Paper (Wide), Crayola washable markers/colored pencils/crayons, and Black, Blue, or Red Pens.
We have also created an amazon Wishlist of all the supplies we are looking for! Please look on our Facebook page for the link. All supplies can be dropped off in the foyer at church. Supplies must be dropped off by Sunday, August 7th.
PACK A BACKPACK EVENT: Come pack a backpack with us! We’re hoping to give away 300 backpacks packed with supplies. In order to do this, we need to pack the bags ahead of time. Join us Friday, August 12 at 6:00pm in the fellowship hall to pack the bags.
VBS 2022: JULY 25-29, 4:45-8:00 PM. Kids 4yo-5th grade — Mark your calendar to join us for a fun-filled week at SPARK STUDIOS Vacation Bible School! We will spark imagination and kick creativity into high gear as we learn that God’s creativity didn’t stop in Genesis. The Master Artist is working to redeem, reclaim, and transform us to the design He planned for us. We will then top the week off with the VBS FAMILY CARNIVAL on Sunday, July 31. SUMMER XROADS: Fun! Community Missions! Bible Study! Be There! July 19 from 1 pm-5 pm. We will be meeting at Trinity Baptist Church for games and service projects. See the Student board for the summer schedule.
SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, August 21 we will be having a Celebration for Pastor Mike's 25 Years at Trinity. We will have a special service followed by a luncheon. Invites have been sent out this week. Grief Support Group: Our goal is to support each other through the loss of family members and friends. We will meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings of the month from 6:00-8:30 PM at Trinity Baptist Church. If you are interested in joining this Trinity Women’s Group please talk to Bonnie Vodak.
Crafting Talents: The Group plans to work on your own U F O’s
Unfinished Objects and observe and learn other projects.
As we grow and move along we can include other opportunity's to teach and learn different Talents. We will meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 6:00-8:30 at Trinity Baptist Church. If you are interested in joining this Trinity Women’s Group please contact Kathy Roloff.
Let’s Get Stronger Together: All Trinity Women interested in improving their health and incorporating biblical principles into physical activities and nutrition choices 6:00—7:30 PM on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month. (Pilot Session: May-August) Please make sure to wear tennis shoes.
UPCOMING WOMEN’S MINISTRY LIFT EVENT: Connecting women with Jesus and each other. Trinity Women’s LIFT Conference. Join us on September 23 & 24 for a time of fellowship. We will be hearing from Ann Westrate. She serves as coordinator of women’s initiatives for The Gospel Coalition. Sign-ups will be available at a later date.
