Local

Local Touched Twice Clinics - On August 15, 2009 we hosted our 5th Touched Twice Clinic in Reedsburg.  Local TTC's are one day events aimed at touching people twice by meeting some practical needs of the under-resourced while sharing the good news of Christ with them along the way.

 

Disaster Relief - We are in the initial stages of equipping people to assist in disaster response alongside the local Red Cross. Contact the church office if you would further information on how you can be involved.

 

Regional

Regional Touched Twice Clinics - In 2005 we participated with churches in Kenosha and worked with them as they served the needy in their city. In 2006, we joined with a church in Sun Prairie to help them serve their community.

 

Disaster Relief - National disasters are responded to by volunteers.  The MN/WI Baptist Convention of the SBC operates mobile feeding and childcare units that are occasionally called upon by the Red Cross in large disasters.  We are currently equipping people with the necessary training to serve with these units. Some of our church members have been to the gulf states and to other parts of the country to assist people who have been affected by natural disasters.

Fort Peck Indian Reservation - In October, 2007, a group of TBC members loaded up a truck with food, clothing, and other supplies to bring to Fort Peck, and Indian Reservation in Montana. For more details, read the Fort Peck Newsletter. There are tentative plans to go there again in 2008.

 

International

Mexico - From June 30 - July 6, 2007, 32 Trinity members went on a mission trip with Back2Back Ministries.  B2B is a ministry that stands alongside an indigenous Christian orphanage ministry in Monterrey, Mexico. Our team was working mainly in construction, as well as spending quality time with the children who live there. The trip in 2007 was such a wonderful experience for everyone involved, Trinity decided to form an official partnership with Back2Back. From June 13-19, 2009, another team of TBC members will travel to Monterrey to once again help the children and staff in practical and loving ways.

 

Thailand - In response to the December 26, 2004 Tsunami that hit South Asia, we were involved in a reconstruction effort in partnership with other churches and missions organizations. Three groups from Trinity went to Thailand to help clean up the area and meet some of the needs of the people there.
