For over two decades, Nicki (Young) Behnke has navigated the joys and challenges of ministry life alongside her high school sweetheart and husband, Paul. Her own path has been anything but linear—marked by the beauty of adoption, serving refugee youth in Atlanta, and a diagnosis that fundamentally reshaped her understanding of God’s presence and love.
After completing her certification at Christos Spiritual Center in Lino Lakes, MN, she launched her practice, Sinking Upward, where she creates a safe, nonjudgmental space to listen to others’ stories and make room for the Holy Spirit to do the transforming work.
Now living in Appleton, Nicki enjoys the rhythm of a morning run, a good cup of coffee, and planning her next travel adventure. She is excited and honored to share her story with you in November as we declare God's glory together.
