MISSIONS

Our goal is to extend the Kingdom of God locally, regionally, and internationally through compassion-based ministry partnerships.

SBC Disaster Relief Disaster Relief - During the 2008 flooding, Trinty Baptist Church was the base for the Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief units. Many of our people were trained in disaster relief and served alongside Red Cross, offering hope in the name of Christ to many in crisis.

Regional

Regional Touched Twice Clinics - In 2005 we participated with churches in Kenosha and worked with them as they served the needy in their city. In 2006, we joined with a church in Sun Prairie to help them serve their community.

SBC Disaster Relief Disaster Relief -National disasters are responded to by volunteers.  The MN/WI Baptist Convention of the SBC operates mobile feeding, childcare, mud-out, chainsaw, shower, and chaplaincy units that may be called upon by the Red Cross in large disasters.  Many in our church have been equipped with the necessary training to serve with these units. Some members have been to the gulf states and to other parts of the country to assist people who have been affected by natural disasters.

World Changers World Changers - We have partnered with World Changers and participated in a variety of community projects, home construction, and renovation work. They tried to meet physical and spiritual needs of others, desiring to change the world in the name of Christ. In 2008, students and adults served in Birmingham, AL; and in 2009, in Hannibal, MO.

Fort Peck Indian Reservation - In October 2007, a group of TBC members loaded up a truck with food, clothing, and other supplies to bring to Fort Peck, an Indian Reservation in Montana. For more details, click the icon to read the Fort Peck Newsletter. Fort Peck Newsletter

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering Annie Armstrong Easter Offering Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for NAMB - Trinity has partnered with the North American Missions Board (NAMB) in sharing our faith with people through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. This offering is transformed into missionary salaries and ministry supplies, helping missionaries penetrate the lostness in the United States, Canada and their territories. Giving to the AAEO allows missionaries to obediently follow God's call and share the Gospel with all people.

International

Mexico - In partnership with Back2Back Ministries, Trinity sent 32 members on our first mission trip to Mexico in June 2007.  Back2Back is a ministry that stands alongside an indigenous Christian orphanage in Monterrey, Mexico. Our team worked primarily in construction, as well as spending quality time with the children who live there. As the trip in 2007 was such a wonderful experience for everyone involved, Trinity decided to form an official partnership with Back2Back. In June 2009 and 2011, Trinity members again traveled to Monterrey to help the children and staff in practical and loving ways.
