VISITOR FAQ’s
First Time Here?
We are excited to have you as our guest!
During your visit please stop by the Information Center as we have a gift for you.
What can I expect on a typical Sunday?
When you arrive, we hope you are welcomed with warm, friendly smiles and the genuine love of our church family. Our welcomer team or information center will be happy to assist you with any questions.
Trinity holds two simultaneous worship services on Sunday mornings -- one in the main sanctuary, and a video simulcast service in the fellowship hall. Our member families attend the video simulcast service on rotational weeks; however, guests are welcome to join the service of their preference.
Worship service typically begins with worship music, prayer, and a sermon message.
Following service, please join us for a cup of coffee in the foyer. Classes are available (September - May) for all ages -- children, students, and adults. If you need help finding a class or any additional information, please stop by the information desk. We would love to assist you!
What should I wear?
Trinity Baptist is a “come as you are” church. Casual and dress clothes are equally welcome. Please wear what is comfortable to you.
Do I have to bring a bible?
Bible verses and sermon notes are displayed on a large overhead video screen; however, if you have a bible, please bring it. If not, we would be happy to give you one!
Will I be asked to give money?
Offerings are an act of worship given by attendees who call Trinity their home. As a guest, you are not asked nor expected to give, though you are welcome to if you desire to do this as an act of worship.
Is your church handicap accessible?
Yes, we are handicap accessible at all entrances, provide handicap parking, and have a handicap accessible restroom.
Does Trinity have childcare during service?
Children are welcome in worship service; however, nursery care is available for ages up to three years old. Cry rooms are also available, where you can worship and care for your children too.
Can I participate in communion?
The Lord's Supper is an object lesson that represents a great spiritual truth for believers - the remembrance of Jesus Christ's death and resurrection. Any one who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior is welcome to partake in communion with us.
What if I'm interested in membership?
If you'd like to learn more about membership, please consider attending our next 101 CLASS, which will introduce you to Trinity Baptist Church.
Who is your church affiliated with?
Trinity Baptist Church is an independent church, which is self-governed and determines its own affairs. Their is no denominational control or heirarchy.
Our church does have a voluntary relationship with three specific groups of churches:
Central Baptist Association (CBA) - A local network of churches in Southwestern Wisconsin whose purpose is to plant and develop prevailing churches.
Minnesota Wisconsin Baptist Convention (MWBC) - A broad network of churches throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) - 40,000+ churches that cooperate together in a world-wide effort of missions.
